Design Contribution – eDecks Loyalty Card

 

As part of our group marketing project for eDecks, my key contribution was the design of a loyalty card, requested directly by one of my group members due to communication challenges within the team.

The brief I received included essential features to incorporate:

  • A QR code linking to the eDecks website
  • Fields for Member Name and Card Number
  • The physical address of the business
  • A tagline promoting rewards for online purchases

 

I ensured the loyalty card design aligned with eDecks’ branding, using their official orange color scheme and logo (see attached files). For the front of the card, I integrated a subtle transparent decking texture as a background to reinforce the brand’s core product. The typography and layout were chosen for clarity and professionalism to appeal to the brand’s target audience

Despite limited group collaboration, I delivered a polished design that reflected the brand’s identity and functionality requirements.

Social media post

In this social media post I designed for the #WinterReady campaign, I focused on maintaining eDecks’ orange color palette to align with the company’s visual identity and strengthen brand recognition. I ensured the logo was clearly placed and unobstructed, giving it prominence and helping reinforce the brand’s presence. To emphasize the seasonal theme, I incorporated snowflake graphics and a frosty wooden decking image, which visually connects with eDecks’ core products. The background not only enhances the winter feel but also helps customers associate the promotion directly with decking. For the headline, I created the catchy and engaging slogan “Frosty Discounts, Warm Savings!”—a memorable phrase that uses wordplay to emotionally connect with the audience. I also included the hashtag #WinterReady to encourage social media engagement and to tie the post into the wider seasonal campaign. I designed this post independently as part of my contribution to the marketing project, applying both visual strategy and brand consistency.

TikTok Winter Sale Social Media Post – My Design Contribution

For eDecks’ Winter Sale campaign, I designed a TikTok social media post that followed the company’s brand guidelines and captured the seasonal theme. I used eDecks’ signature orange color as the main background to ensure brand consistency and visual recognition across platforms.

The post began with a clean and impactful opening frame featuring the eDecks logo and a snowflake overlay to immediately set a wintery tone. On the second frame, I introduced the key tagline:

“Frosty Discounts, Warm Savings”

This phrase was selected for its catchy, emotionally resonant message that reflects both the seasonal theme and the promotional tone.

Beneath the tagline, I added the promotional message:

“Up to 30% Off – Limited Time Only”

This helped highlight the urgency and value of the sale, encouraging users to take action quickly.

For the final frame, I used a realistic deck image as the background with the snowflake overlay to tie the design back to eDecks’ core product offering. I animated the snowflake layer to enhance the winter vibe and added a strong call to action:

“Don’t Miss the Frosty Deals – Shop Now at eDecks!”

This structure created a smooth narrative flow: from brand identity, to offer awareness, to action — all while staying visually on-brand and seasonally relevant.
